Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy or use TuningMac ("the software"), made by TuningMac. By buying or using the software you agree to them.
Your license
- When you buy TuningMac, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable lifetime license to use the software on up to two Macs that you own or control.
- The license is a one-time purchase. It does not renew and there is no subscription.
- All future updates and versions of TuningMac, including new major versions, are included at no extra cost. You won't be charged again.
What you may not do
- Share, resell, rent or publish your license key.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the software, except where the law allows it.
- Remove or bypass license checks or other protections.
Payments
Orders are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which is the seller of record for your purchase and handles billing, taxes and invoices. Prices are shown on tuningmac.com and may change, but a change never affects a purchase you've already made.
System requirements
The software requires macOS 14.2 Sonoma or later. Some headphone features depend on the model and on what macOS makes available, and may not work with every device.
Warranty and liability
The software is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be free of errors or suit every purpose. To the extent the law allows, TuningMac is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the software, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Trademarks
TuningMac, its name and its logo belong to TuningMac. Every other product name, brand and trademark mentioned on tuningmac.com belongs to its owner, including:
- Apple, Mac, macOS, AirPods, Safari, Apple Music, FaceTime and Logic (Apple Inc.)
- Sony and WH-1000XM5 (Sony Group Corporation)
- Bose (Bose Corporation)
- Spotify (Spotify AB)
- YouTube, Chrome and Google (Google LLC)
- Netflix (Netflix, Inc.)
- Zoom (Zoom Communications, Inc.)
- Slack (Slack Technologies, LLC)
- ChatGPT (OpenAI)
- Claude (Anthropic)
- Perplexity (Perplexity AI, Inc.)
- Grok (xAI)
- eqMac (Bitgapp)
- SoundSource (Rogue Amoeba Software, LLC)
- BlackHole (Existential Audio) and Soundflower
- Dodo Payments and Vercel
These names are used only to describe what TuningMac works with or how it can be used. TuningMac is an independent app and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of these companies. App icons shown in our screenshots and mockups are placeholders, not the companies' own logos.
If you own one of these names or marks and you're not happy with how it's used here, email support@tuningmac.com and we'll fix or remove it promptly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
